Maybe the Dumbest Game I've Ever Watched

The loss to Texas A&M hurts particularly bad since it was a team effort by the players and coaches to give the game away to a far inferior team. The Tigers spotted A&M 14 points on turnovers while two amazingly bad 4th down calls sunk the Tigers.

Without researching it, I am pretty confident that Pinkel is the first coach to ever attempt a fake field goal after a delay of game penalty. Then going to the option with a passing quarterback on 4th down with four minutes to go in the game makes me wonder why I spent three hours of my Saturday watching this game.

This was a case of a coach trying to outwit himself and losing.

Up next, K-State. I think we win the next two, but this spectacularly dumb game will be tough to forget.
