Alden Kicks the Only Basketball People Off of the Committee
Mike Alden, who knows as much about basketball as I know about bus transmissions, will now pick our next basketball coach without the input of Gary Link or Jon Sundvold, the two basketball people on the search committee. As expected, this all came down through rumor, reports on ESPN, miscommunication, hard feelings, etc. Meanwhile, K-State hires a coach with absolutely no time wasted, no fanfare and no press. They needed a coach, they hired a coach.
My question is why is Mike Alden still the athletic director at the University of Missouri?
Call the Missouri Board of Curators and demand the return of Missouri athletics from the grips of Mike Alden. Mike, you're no longer needed here at Missouri.
