Missouri basketball coach Quin Snyder whined at the Big 12 media conference this week about being limited in his recruiting. He implied that he wasn't allowed to recruit KU star Brandon Rush due to academic concerns. Quin instead should have been thanking the Missouri athletic department that he wasn't fired after six years of scandal, probation, terrible performances and plummeting interest in the program. Despite the damage he has wreaked on the program, Snyder continues to have the opportunity to do well at Missouri. Any limits he has are a direct result of his lack of discretion and leadership.
