Dan McCarney is getting good at this choke business. For the second year in a row, he snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and hapless Colorado once again backs into a Big XII North title, which is frustrating considering that few Colorado fans will bother showing up for either the Big XII championship game or their bowl game. CU brought a whopping 700 fans to their bowl last year and most of them were heavily armed with projectiles. Is there a bigger waste than Colorado athletics? I was actually pulling for ISU, which is probably why they lost.
Here are my predictions for the upcoming basketball season. Please refer to the legend below.
The infamous Tigger Lover of TigerBoard.com fulfilled a lifelong dream today by earning himself a moderator uniform. "I'm speechless," said Tigger Lover, seen here with a couple of random posters who were later beaten to a pulp by the over-stimulated moderator drunk on power.
Kansas State football coach Bill Snyder has retired. His epic battles against archrival CFU were...epic. He will be missed.
Quin wasted no time whatsoever this season losing to a scrub team. He usually waits until it's a little colder, but why not get it over with the first game? So here is a coach who was hired site unseen, no track record, no experience whatsoever, who has wreaked utter havok within the Missouri basketball program making it a national laughing stock and tonight reached a new low (was that possible?) by losing to Sam Who-ston State in front of a sparse crowd--Mizzou's home opener. Quin Snyder has managed to sink Mizzou's basketball program lower than the likes of Colorado's. Yet the man continues to remain gainfully employed at the University of Missouri.
